Our prayers are with his family. Our son was there when he died and it was tough for him to see his good buddy hurt. Our son said he was a great guy and had only good things to say about him! We are thankful for brave men like him defending our country. Aaron's sacrifice on the 4th of July 2009 will not be forgotten. Thank you Aaron for helping to protect our son.

I am at COP zerok and had the honor of serving with Fairbairn... we are all still feeling this tragedy.. and he will be greatly missed...he was hit while doing his job and supressing the enemy.. while doing so he gave the rest of us valuble seconds to get to our positions and defend the COP... he saved many lives that day and without him who knows where we will be.. when we came here we all knew the risk we were facing and aaron and casillas paidd the ultimate price and while the rest of able company is still feeling their loss we are all very much appreciative of what they did... Rest in Peace young soldier.. you can finally let your guard down... Gone.. but NEVER forgotten... thank you!!! God Bless you and your family...... Geronimo Always

I am so sorry for the loss of this great soldier. My husband is on COP Zerok still and told me he was a great man.
