A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army Sgt. 1st Class Alwyn C. Cashe died Nov. 8 at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, from wounds suffered Oct. 17 while on patrol in a Bradley Fighting Vehicle when an improvised explosive devise detonated near his vehicle in Samarra, Iraq.

O God, by whose mercy the faithful departed find rest, look kindly on Your departed veteran who gave his life in the service of his country. Grant that through the passion, death, and resurrection of Your Son he may share in the joy of Your heavenly kingdom and rejoice in You with Your saints forever. Bless his heart and keep his family in Your Hands, Guard them and comfort them.
