Army Master Sgt. Anthony Davis died Nov. 25 in Baaj, Iraq, after being shot by an Iraqi Security Force soldier while he was conducting a dismounted humanitarian food drop.

Had a great time at Riley training up for the MiTT. That was an extremely cold crew serve weapons range. But we made through it. You are a great American my friend. You are so missed!

I worked for Msg. Davis while in Iraq we went out on missions together, this was something we never expected but feared. I could tell right away he was a good man who always put himself in others' shoes.

Mr.Davis was the most enthusiastic, inspirational motivator I have ever met in my life. He pushed me in running as well as Diana and the entire running team. He will be missed. He is one of those gifts from God that make people want to live and strive to do their best.
