Army Spc. Blaine E. Redding died June 7 in Konar, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his vehicle with an improvised explosive device. Also killed in the attack were Sgt. Joshua A. Lukeala, Spc. Matthew R. Catlett, and Spc. Charles S. Jirtle

Wow, Blaine, the baby of this group of Heros! You were a 22 year old out to save the world, and it is not going unnoticed, not by me! Thank you.. for everything, literally all you could possibly give, your life. God Bless you and your family and friends! Thank you for your service and sacrifice, you are a true American HERO. You make me proud to be an American, I will not forget it!
