Army 1st Sgt. Blue C. Rowe died May 26 in Panjshir Province, Afghanistan, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.

Blue and I worked together in Croatia when he met and fell in love with Cindy. I remember Dakavo well. I will honor Blue in my up-comming retirement ceremony. God Speed Cindy and Andrew.
