A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army Spc. Brian R. Bowman died Jan. 3 in Ashoque, Afghanistan, from wounds sustained when insurgents attacked their unit with multiple improvised explosive devices and small-arms fire. Also killed were Sgt. Joshua A. Lengstorf and Pvt. John P. Dion

It is Memorial Day. I was jogging in the park today and I was handed a piece of paper with the name of a fallen soldier. Brian's name was the random name handed to me.
he is one of many heroes who has made the ultimate sacrifice for me and my family. I am truly grateful for Brian and the numerous other American soldiers who insure my freedom and safety.
