Army Sgt. 1st Class Calvin B. Harrison died Sept. 29 in Chenar Village, Uruzgan province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with small-arms fire.

To the Brother and Cousin in Arms I never got know. We were from the same home-town, went to the same high school, joined the same Army, served in combat in Iraq, and shared the same first name, but were a little of a decade apart. You are a true hero and will not be forgotten. To be absent in this body is to be present with the Lord.
