Army Sgt. Carl J. Morgain died May 22 in Balad, Iraq, of injuries sustained in Kadasia, Iraq, when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee.

Carl, I miss you still to this day and think about you often. I wish we could turn back time and change our actions that fateful day. I wish I could give my life in place of yours. I love you brother and hope to see you someday in another life.
