Charles B Kitowski III of Farmers Branch, Texas is remembered in the Liberty Unites archive.
A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army Sgt. Charles B. Kitowski III died Aug. 12 in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Also killed were Staff Sgt. Jesse G. Clowers Jr. and Sgt. 1st Class Jeffrey D. Kettle.

as a fellow member of the 345th POC (A) I offer my deepest condolences to the Kitowski family and I am unfortunate that I was not able to attend his service. God Bless. I am saddened to hear this news since I too am in Afghanistan and only on leave for these two weeks here in Texas. If there is anything my family to include the 345th can do please don't hesitate to contact me.
