I am a friend of the fallen Spc. Shawn Falter of Homer NY. To his family, the pain you feel is not yours alone. I pray in Jesus' name that you are comforted by other families that have expiernced this parents' grief, and that your story- still not finished- will become a becon of light for others in the future. "For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" -Jesus Matthew 11:30

To the family of Spc. Simpson. My condolences to you. My heart goes out to you. I know of what I speak as we lost our beloved son-in-law 20 June 2007 in al Anbar province. There is a hole in our family and our hearts that some days we just don't know what to do with. You will have some trying days ahead but know that Christopher was doing what he loved by serving his country and providing a measure of safety for those of us who continue to enjoy the freedoms of this country. God Bless you and know that there are many more families who are mourning with you. We will never forget our boys and always love them. Mother-in-law of Sgt. Shawn P. Martin, USMC
