I went to Immaculate High School with Chris for 4 yrs. and will always remember him as a strong guy with a passion for life. What happen on 9/11 should never have occurred. I pray that the world and especially the media never forget who the victims were on 9/11 and not give positive attention to causes that would have you believe they were forced to complete mass murder in order to make a statement or persuade an outcome they strongly believe in.

The only sense we can make of Chris' terrible death is that he died the way he would have wanted to -- helping others and saving lives. Memories from our high school days, fire department antics, and late-night emergency room chats in Danbury: I will always smile when I think of him and know I have another angel on my shoulder. Chris, play nice with Larry (don't get into trouble together!) and take care of Grandpa for me.

I did not really know Chris, but since my name is also Blackwell this is probably the closest I am to being connected to the trade towers. I do grieve every day for the victims and for the pain the rest of the world has to endure because of the terrorists. You shall never be forgotten.

Chris was a friend from way back to our teenage years. Chris perished in a way that he would have wanted. Chris was a selfless, considerate, heroic individual who gave no consideration of his safety when attempting to save others. Chris should be remembered for his contributions to the public, his family, and his friends.Good bye, Chris.We miss you.
