Army Sgt. Christopher P. Abeyta died March 15 in Jalabad, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained in Kot, Afghanistan, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Also killed were Sgt. Robert M. Weinger and Spc. Normal L. Cain III.
