Marine Lance Cpl. Christopher S. Fowlkes died Sept. 10 from wounds sustained Sept. 3 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

To the Fowlkes Family: There are many veterans groups who are even now engaging Bank of America for the actions of their branch manager in the removal of the American Flags along the route of the funeral cortege. Many of us have our sons and daughters in the military and in harms way, as well. We stand beside you as you grieve. We honor the service of your son, Christopher, a true American Hero. May God Bless you and sustain you in this most terrible of times for your family.
