Army Sgt. 1st Class Daniel E. Miller died August 24 of wounds sustained from a non-combat related incident in Herat, Afghanistan. Also killed was Sgt. 1st Class Scott M. Carney.

My son,s name is daniel, he will be 17 on oct. 1
GOD take care of danny in heaven , danny join the
army to figth for his country if the time came,
You know iam 61 yrs. old and i was drafted to figth
in vietnam war. but i was rejected because they
said i had a heart murmur. but i lot of my buddys
had to go., and 5 of them never made it back.
I watch the news every nite. for info on the war.
and then the day came ; i'll never forget , I was
home and the pres. came on and he said the war
has come to a end. my god people driving around
just going crazy. MY POINT I SAID AND EVERY
AMERICAN SAID WE WOULD NEVER GET INTO A
WAR THAT WOULD PUT SOLDIERS IN HARMS WAY
WITHOUT THAT ALL OF US MUST AGREE ON.
GOD BLESS YOU DANIEL I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS FOR AS LONG IAM STILL ALIVE
