A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army Sgt. Daniel M. Eshbaugh died Sept. 17 when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter he was in went down in the vicinity of Tallil, Iraq. Also killed were Chief Warrant Officer 2 Corry A. Edwards, Sgt. Anthony L. Mason, 1st Sgt. Julio C. Ordonez, Chief Warrant Officer 3 Brady J. Rudolf, Cpl. Michael E. Thompson and 1st Lt. Robert Vallejo II.

Danny, Although I just met you for the first time at greatgrandpa'a funeral, I really felt like I have known you my entire life. I was so looking forward to you being at the next family reunion next year and getting to know you and the rest of your family better. You have a great sense of humor and I am proud and honored to have had you serve this great country of ours. Your family is in my prayers, say hello to Uncle Dan and great grandpa for me. Love you. You will be missed so much in this Eshbaugh family, although distances seem to keep us apart, we're always there for one another. It's a bond that can't be broken. Thank you again for serving our country. I will see you in the heavenly mansion and we will all be reunited for a great reunion and celebration. May God bless you and your family.
