The realities of war seemed so far away, then a young man from my childhood fell...I heard his name on the news...then I saw a picture of him and the reality of war hit me. I have always had respect for those in service to our country but hearing of Dariek's fall made me more aware of the realities of war. My brother is heading home today after 11 months in Afghanistan...Monday could have had a very different meaning to us personaly! Please know we will be praying for Dariek's family!!! -Monnica
