Marine Lance Cpl. Dean D. Opicka died April 14 while conducting combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq. Also killed was Cpl. Richard J. Nelson.

Maybe he is guarding the streets of Heaven. If the Army and the Navy, were to look on heavens scenes, they would see the streets were guarded by UNITED STATES MARINES

Mr. Opicka was my son's teacher.
My son is now a marine. He was proud you served and now proud to serve.

God Bless You Dean! Thank You for your service to our country! Thank You for your compassion to all who knew you! You are still missed everyday by all of your friends and family! Memorial Day was yesterday and as it has always been something special, this year it was more than that! You will never be forgotten!
