I met you a couple of times in the Financial Aid office at SCU and every year I think about you on this day. You are, were such a beautiful girl inside and out and I just want you know that I pray for you, especially this day, and for your family, and may you rest in Peace, and may the world deliver more people like you.

I had the honor of knowing Deora -- I went to La Jolla Country Day with her. She was a vibrant young woman with a lot to offer. I wanted to write a letter to her parents, but did not know the words to describe my sadness and anger over her untimely death. I, along with everyone who knew her, will greatly miss her. She was a wonderful person, a person who helped to make the world a better place just by living.

Your life was cut short in your prime. But God knows the best. Sleep on in the bosom of our Lord Jesus. And may he grant you eternal rest. Rest in peace. Amen.

I am 20 years old myself, and I can only imagine what her family is going through. Please stay stong, and I do not know her personally, but I am sure she had a lot going for her. May she rest in peace.

It is so sad to see young people die. I didn't at all know this sweet girl, but she seemed really happy and nice. I hope she is now in a better place. Let's hope nothing like this will ever happen again.

I don't know who you were, but I feel that just by looking at you on this photo somehow we are connected. I will keep you in my prayers always, and I am going to have a gold-bangle bracelet made with your name on it to remind me that you were here once, living your life just like my two children (My son, 22, college graduate; my daughter, 16 years, 11th grade).

My heart, prayers, and all possible good thoughts go out to the family of this beautiful young woman. You see the numbers of those killed on 9-11, and it's staggering. You see the innocent faces, and it's completely devastating.
