A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army Spc. Eddie D. Tamez died April 27 in Fallujah, Iraq, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle during combat operations. Also killed was Army Pfc. David A. Kirkpatrick.

I am so sorry for the loss of your son Eddie. My son David was with Eddie. My heart aches so much for David and Eddie, even though I didn't know him. I also worry so much about William Castillo. He told us stories about Eddie teaching David magic tricks and he couldn't wait to show us. Thank You so much for raising an American Hero. I am so sorry for what happened. His sacrifice will never be forgotten. Hope we can meet someday. I think it would be a help with the healing.

Eddie the one who AWAYS stood out in our class as a respectful, loving, and humble gentleman. You showed myself, our friends, and family what real love is! Even though I miss you so much I know your in Heaven now with Jesus. You gave me just one more reason why i will strive to go to Heaven even more. To see you again.
