A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army Staff Sgt. Eric D. Cottrell died Aug. 13 in Qayyarah, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device. Also killed were Pfc. Juan M. Lopez Jr. and Pfc. Paulomarko U. Pacificador.

that thing that says he was a health care specialist needs to be changed....he was a damned proud combat medic. i know what the job title is...but he didnt work in no hospital...he worked on the line with the rest of us.

In the late 1980's our son, Bruce, brought Eric home for Christmas when they were stationed in Ft. Devens, MA. We had a wonderful time that year. What a joy and blessing to have known Eric. Our family extends our love and heartfelt sympathy to you. . . Eric's loved ones, family, friends, and fellow soldier's.
