Army Sgt. Evan S. Parker died Oct. 26 at Landstuhl Army Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany, of injuries sustained Oct. 23 when his dismounted patrol was attacked by enemy forces who threw an explosive device from their moving vehicle in Balad, Iraq.
