Army Sgt. 1st Class George Stanciel died Aug. 19 at Forward Operating Base Garry Owen, Iraq, of wounds sustained when the base came under mortar attack.

Sorry to hear was lost another good soldier. I was station with him in HI for our first duty station. Funny how time goes. He was a good friend. I will miss him.
