Posey, I'll never forget meeting you for the 1st time at some stupid mandatory meeting to meet Capt. Pion when he 1st came to 1/2 you were always so happy even when you were on restriction i remember seeing you walking to the ood hut to check in and you were smiling and joking with my husband Cpl. Howard i had brought him dinner when he was on duty we were so sad to hear of your death we have both cried many tears and said what if you were still with 1/2 or what if they had trained you a little more. And in my heart i think i blame 1/2 for not taking care of you and sending you to regiment who then sent you to 2/8 but i know that God put you here and in our lives for a reason even though it was brief you served a purpose and as i sit here tonight I think about your smile and how whenever my husband or I ever saw you you had the biggest smile and you showed me that no matter whats going on in life theres always a reason to smile and i thankyou! To your family i'm so sorry for your loss you and Posey as we know him will always be in our hearts and you all in our prayers because i know that Greg is in a better place thankyou for sacraficing your son so that I may be free!
Love always
Cpl. and Mrs. Howard

Greg was a great friend and a super math whiz in highschool...I wish I could tell him thank you for his service.

You'll be missed man!
