A LIFE REMEMBERED

We speak the name.

Army Sgt. Gregory Owens Jr. died July 20 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle followed by an attack from enemy forces using small arms and rocket-propelled grenades. Also killed were Spc. Anthony M. Lightfoot, Spc. Andrew J. Roughton and Pfc. Dennis J. Pratt.

I am looking through my pictures, and listening to this song- "We're Living like we're bullet proof" .. I thought of you, and began to cry. I am so sad that you are gone, and I miss you so much. I celebrate your life, your contributions, and I know you are up there wrestling with the angels... thank you and I thank God that He allowed me the pleaseure and honor of calling you my BRUH-- sweat blood sweat blood and TEARs until sweat blood and tears.. you are aSUPER SOLDIER, thank you and I still offer my condolences to your family- I live for you now..
