Navy Special Warfare Operator Chief Petty Officer (SEAL) Heath M. Robinson died Aug. 6 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter in which he was riding was shot down. Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL) Heath M. Robinson, 34, of Detroit enlisted in January 1996, the Navy said. Robinson completed Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL School, Coronado, Calif., in January, 2000. He served with two West Coast-based special warfare units from March 2000 to April 2004, and later served with four East Coast-based special warfare units beginning in April 2004.
