Army Spc. Jacob C. Carroll
died Nov. 13 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, when an insurgent suicide bomber detonated a vest bomb and struck his unit. Also killed were Cpl. Jacob R. Carver and Staff Sgt. Juan L. Rivadeneira.
