A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army Sgt. 1st Class James D. Connell Jr. died May 12 in Al Taqa, Iraq, of wounds suffered when his patrol was attacked by enemy forces using automatic fire and explosives. Also killed were Pfc. Daniel W. Courneya and Pfc. Christopher E. Murphy.

i know i cant talk to right now because you have passed on but i would like to leave you this message thank you for all the things you have done for me. you have changes lots of boys like me into men and i really thank you for that.you were a great man to your wife your kids and a great father to all of us rest in peace ..36g out..

I lived in Ft Benning Ga when I met James Connell and his wife and children. I will never forget during a power outage going over to his house and he gave me a camping lantern and a flashlight to use, my husband was in Kuwait at the time and I will never forget that. He was a great father and loved his kids very much. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
