A LIFE REMEMBERED
Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class James R. Layton died Sept. 8 in Kunar province, Afghanistan, while supporting combat operations.

He was a good friend of mine he always new how 2 make some one smile and laugh.. He always made me when I was felling down about something. I MISS YOU VERRY MUCH MY FRIEND..

My prayers and deepest sympathy are with the family and friends of James. We share your pain as our family also lost our beloved Aaron Kenefick along with your son and two other brave soldiers during the ambush. They are true heroes and we were so blessed to have had them in our lives but they will be forever missed. Our hearts are broken and will take a very very long time to mend. They are now with God and smiling down upon us. We love you and thank you for your bravery and sacrifice.

My son trained with James in Okinawa with 3rd Marines. Navy Corpsman are very special to Marines... my dad, uncle, two sons and my self are Marines. James is a Hero and Patriot to all of us. God bless you and family for him. May we help in any way contact me, please. captaingolden@gmail.com
