A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army Cpl. Jason R. Parsons died Jan. 9 in Jaldak, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Also killed were Maj. Brian M. Mescall and Spc. Joseph M. Hernandez.

Thank you for your loyalty and service to our country. It is because of you we are the land of the free. May God bless you and welcome you home into eternal life. Rest in peace. Your job is done here on earth. Walk in paradise with your fellow brothers. I am honored to know that my cousin Joseph left this earth with both you and Brian. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ provide your family with peace and comfort. I will be attending a mass intention for my cousin Joseph tomorrow. I will keep you and Brian in my prayers.
