Marine Cpl. Jeffery W. Johnson died May 11 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Also killed was Sgt. Kenneth B. May Jr., 26, of Kilgore, Texas

Hello my name is Cpl Corona.. I knew Cpl Johnson only for a few months while going through a course with him that started in late Oct and ended in mid Dec " Anti Tank Missile Man Leader Course." He had us laughing most the time but he was a very smart marine and knew when it was time to be serious. I`m sorry for the loss of Cpl Johnson as well as the other marines who have been WIA or KIA. My unit 2/1 will be relieving them in Oct. My heart goes out to the marines families and I am very honored to have known Cpl Johnson.
