Jeremy was my buddy during green platoon and when he hurt his ankle I wrapped it every mornig and put his boot on him so he could finish the course. His ankle was purple and swollen but he wanted to finish. We were both family men and enjoyed going to Golden Coral and just hanging out during the 5 weeks at green plattoon. He was with me in my red truck when I drove off the 3 foot cirb of a dark parking lot, while trying to find our way to the NCO club. HA, HA. ( good times) He was definately not a quiter, but now that he is gone I wish I hadn't helped him finish. I am sorry friend and to your wife and child I am also sorry for your loss. He is still missed. My b-day is 13 Feb and I never forget the loss that time of year. I was scheduled for deployment with him to Afganistan, but was removed from manifest for medical reasons. Thankful, but the loss will never be forgotten.

Sorry,
Teddy Sawtelle
