John left behind two beautiful children, Michael and Michele. His two children meant the world to him. There was nothing he would not do for them, his life revolved around them. He was very proud of them, as they were of him. Michael goes to college in Boston and is trying his best to do good so that his father will be proud of him and Michele has a dream to go into the same line of business as her father. Michael and Michele will miss their dad but, with the help of their mother and their family, they will strive ahead and make their dad proud.

I know that my dad, John F. Puckett, was one of the happiest people I know. He always loved life! He was one of the best men you would ever find. He was an amazing father and amazing friend and an amazing person to talk to. There would never be a time when you wouldn't see my dad smiling. I think he was an angel that was put here to make everyone happy. I just hope that God takes good care of him. I am just happy that i have him as my angel.

John was my friend for 15 years. We played great music together and had a lot of laughs. He taught me alot about music. I'll never forget the lessons I learned from this man. I miss john a great deal and hope he is protected on the other side.
