Army Spc. Jonathan D. A. Emard died June 4 in Tikrit, Iraq, of wounds sustained in Sharqat, Iraq, when his unit was attacked by enemy forces using small-arms fire and hand grenades. Also killed were Sgt. Shane P. Duffy and Sgt. Cody R. Legg.
