dear son i remember when we was together in iraq im so sorry i didnt go before you i live in this hell every day i love you john and you will be forever in my heart why god chose you and not me ill never know i hope you are at peace now i wish i could have been a better dad to you or chose a different way to raise you but as you said cheer up dad we are soldiers!! and im so proude of you iraq got my heart and left me to survive without you ill always be proud of you son i will live with the war for the rest of my life i was so proud to have served our great country with you son!! forever dad
