Army Staff Sgt. Jordan L. Bear died March 1 of wounds caused by small-arms fire in Kandahar province, Afghanistan. Also killed in the incident was Pfc. Payton A. Jones.

My deepest condolences to Army Staff Sgt. Jordan L. Bear's family, friends & fellow comrades who lost a great man. I know how hard it is, losing my nephew in '09 in Afghanistan also.
