My heart is broken, my tears still fall. You told me once,"Dad, you know I'd take a bullet for you", and to that I replied, "You know I'd take one for you too." Josh then stated, "I know that." That still holds true today if it would bring you back. I'm ready to meet my maker, He just called you Home too early. We miss you and will hold your son Jaxon as the gift you left us. I am the mother of Joshua B. Madden. He was our baby boy, the light of our life. He was funny, handsome, loyal, and honorable. We were proud of his commitment to our country. He loved his family so much. He loved and admired his father and always tried to make him proud. He was willing to die for his family especially his wife Dani and his baby boy Jaxon. We are just devastated by the loss of Josh. I cry every day and long to hear his voice and feel his hug. I will never stop grieving for him and asking WHY?. Please never forget that freedom isn't free.
