My sincere condolances to the Wilhelm family. Any soldier killed is one less american hero in my opinion. I feel that each and every person who volunteers to join the service in defense of our contry deserves 110 percent of our support. I do not believe in the old beliefs that in order to make a good solider you have to ride them till they break.
I have two children in the Army. No mater how hard they try the are not able to make PT. Our family tends to look less heavy than they are. They have heavy muscle or wahtever.
If our dedicated and decorated soldiers work and really try to be the best they can be, why do we ride them and label them as unfit soldiers?
My most sincere condolances to the Wilhelm family. May God bless you all in light of this horrable tragedy.

Dear family Keiffer - How I feel for you all and how I will be lifting you up and praying that you can face each day knowing that Keiffer's life and death is not in vain. Somehow, somewhere, his and your story will prevent anothe son or daughter and family from being tormented like this. I lost my brother who was older but he is still alive in my heart and soul. I think of it without even trying as I live here in Texas and he lives in another place....state?...heaven....where there is no pain. I even visit with him from time to time and tell him that I'll see him soon. And in the scheme of a lifetime or eternity, I know this to be true. He may be taken away from you phsycially, but he is still very much alive in your heart and your soul....and you likewise are there with him. A brother is different than a son though....and I cannot even imagine your pain after being so hopeful for him to find his place as a young man. I just pray that you will be strong and that you are surrounded by loving arms and kindred spirits and that somehow each day is a a little better until you come to that place in your journey where you know that you will be united again. Keiffer's life was not in vain. His story has touched me as I too have a son that doesn't quite fit in and struggles with it all....Know that people are praying for you.

Thank you Pvt. Keiffer Wilhelm for your service to us all. May God wrap his loving arms around the Wilhelm family and hold them so gently but firmly letting them know that they are assured grace, peace and love. He Will see you through this tragic loss caused as a result of his fellow soldiers selfish, evil actions. GOD WILL HOLD THEM ALL ACCOUNTABLE.
TO THE FAMILY: I know your loss of this precious child is Deeper than Tears but GOD PROMISES MERCY: When a person reacts positively to tragedy--that's a miracle. Psalm 23 concludes with the glorious line: "Surely goodness, and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life." That's god's way of saying that life will often be filled with goodness, but that even when God's goodness cannot be seen, his mercy can be experienced! In the midst of tears, heartbreak, enormous loss, and terrible sorrow, suddenly a sweet mood, like a gentle kiss, will touch your wounded heart. That experience is called "MERCY". It comes as an expression of God's Love. The good news is that God promises "MERCY" adequate enough to meet any tragedy. Love and Peace to you all: Proud Army mother of US Army Iraq veteran.

To the family and friends of Private Keiffer P. Wilhelm, I am so sorry for your loss. It is very unfortunate that those who were supposed to have guide him and helped to protect his life, pushed him in to taking his own. I want you to know that I am an ordinary citizen, who may not agree with everything that our government tells our soldiers to do, however I support them 110%. They are doing a very honorable thing serving our great country. Which I can't say for too many other types of jobs. I think it is terrible that some in our country have forgotten what our country was built on hardwork, honor and most importantly FREEDOM, and yes that includes FREEDOM of speech and religous beliefs. Have we as a country forgotten why we wanted to become America the land of the free and the home of the brave? Everything our relatives who migrated here risking their lives is slowly becoming more and more like the places that they chose to leave behind for a better life here in the US. It's time to take a stand before it's to late. What happened to our willingness to work hard. And as for the four men responsible, if found to be so, may they live the rest of their lives in shame and behind bars. Sincerely, K. Bascom US citizen

No one should have to endure what you did Pvt. Wilhelm. Soldiers should be brothers in arms and stick up for one another and not drag each other down. Rest in peace and may God be with your family to find peace in your passing.

I am sorry to hear of your family's loss. It's sad that other military personnel would do this to one of their own. May God bless Keiffer and his family and may peace eventually be found for his family, friends, and loved ones.
