A LIFE REMEMBERED
Army 1st Lt. Kevin J. Gaspers died April 23 in Sadah, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his location. Also killed were Staff Sgt. Kenneth E. Locker Jr., Staff Sgt. William C. Moore, Sgt. Randell T. Marshall, Sgt. Brice A. Pearson, Sgt. Michael L. Vaughan, Spc. Jerry R. King, Spc. Michael J. Rodriguez and Pfc. Garrett C. Knoll.

Our love, thoughts, and prayers to all of you. We also want to thank Kevin and all of his family for helping keep us safe in our country. He has given his life for all of us and we shall always be grateful and ever thankful. We have two little boys ourselves and I can't imagine the pain you are feeling. Just know that someone down in Texas is thinking of all of you and will not forget what Kevin did for us and the rest of his country. We love him and the many that have died, as well as the ones still fighting. Thank you for sharing your special son with us and his country. I pray that the Lord will bless you all in many ways.
