To the family and friends of Lance Corporal Bolding, I wish the swiftest realization possible that your son and friend is in a better place, and that he served with the utmost degree of honor. I hope to God that I never have to lead Marines through what he endured, but if that duty falls on me, I will consider myself blessed. The responsibility is a privilege and a burden.
