Army Pfc. Casey P. Mason died Nov. 13 in Mosul, Iraq, of wounds sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit using small-arms fire.

My name is PFC Wegner. Casey Mason was my best friend. we were in basic training together in Ft. Leonard Wood. The toughest thing ive ever done was speak at his memorial cermonie. he was a great man and i will never for get him

I stumbled upon this website, thankful that I have. I would like to say that Mason is remembered everyday by our platoon, as you know the Wolfpack. I am having a hard time putting into words what I would like to say. I will simply tell you that your son was a wonderful person and he is a part of many people. I am sorry that the world is missing a wonderful hero.

My name is Elise Riley.
My husband, SGT Brandon Riley, was serving in Iraq with Casey when he passed.
He was there, the day he passed.
Casey was a great person.
I only knew him for 6, almost 7 months.
He was a great person and my husband is proud to say he served with him.
