Thank you so much for patriotism, love of our country and the ultimate sacrifice you have made. May your family and friends find comfort in their memories of you. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.

I have only known your family for a short time, but I got my best friend from you, Danielle, if it wasn't for you I would have never met her and Isabella would never have met Elijah. I promise you that I will try to make something of your sacrifice and you have my promise to love and always take care of Danielle and Elijah for the rest of my life. I always felt like I knew you well through your wife, and we pray for you every night, and always will. You are thought of each and every day that I live, men/marines like you are seldom found in life. God bless you.
Love,

To my dearest husband-
It has been a little over a month since you went away...it still seems so unreal. I miss you more and more everyday. Our son Elijah (3 yrs.) asks about you every day and it kills me to see him hurting. I tell him what an amazing person you were and how you loved him so much, but it just doesn't seem to be enough. I pray that you are now at peace and I also pray that this country will someday find that as well. You are my heart, my soul, my world, you will never be forgotten. May you always rest in peace my sweet angel. I love you now and forever. Love- Danielle

I did not know you personally. I served with 3/8, and was born and raised in Shreveport, LA. You have my utmost respect and I pray that your family knows there are people like myself out here that will do everything we can to help with the hardship of your lose. Semper Fi brother. You will not be forgotten.

Dear Chad,
HONEST TO GOD...I swear I have posted to you TWICE before...but for some reason it has been not posted here.
I love your smile and I am so sorry we lost you to this war. God bless you and yours and may yours be comforted in the idea that you were doing what you believed in.
May you rest in peace and may God hold you in the palm of God's hand.
Thank you,
Mary

I just stood by the side of the road and watched the funeral procession to your church. My heart is full of admiration and respect for all that you have sacrificed for your country. My prayers go out to your wife and son - may they know how much the sacrifice you and your family have made, means to us.
