Army Spc. Kenneth E. Necochea Jr.
died Dec. 12 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. Also killed were Cpl. Sean M. Collins, Cpl. Willie A. McLawhorn Jr., Spc. Patrick D. Deans, Spc. Derek T. Simonetta and Spc. Jorge E. Villacis
