Marine The Associated Press JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - The family of a North Carolina Marine killed in Afghanistan is saying goodbye. A funeral service and burial is being held Monday for 32-year-old Staff Sgt. Leon Lucas Jr., who died earlier this month after being wounded during combat in Afghanistan. The Wilson man&#39s funeral is at a Baptist church in Jacksonville followed by burial in a nearby state veterans cemetery. Lucas leaves behind a wife, a 4-year-old son and a 2-year-old son. His family says he and his wife were expecting a third child in December. Lucas was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment based at Twentynine Palms, Calif.
