"I still remember the first time I saw Manny when he came in to apply at the Gap in his Peurto Rican Flag embellished denim jacket. He rose from a door guard to a manager and he was the friendliest nicest guy. The last time I saw him was at BBQ's , he was celebrating his enlistment and deployment with his family, he was so proud to have joined after 9.11. Memorial Day is about him and all the other brave people who had the freedom to do anything they wanted in life and chose the military life. RIP Manny Hornedo."
