Marine Cpl. Marcus W. Preudhomme died June 26 while supporting combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq. Also killed were Capt. Philip J. Dykeman and Lt. Col. Max A. Galeai.

I really didnt get to spend alot of time with you to get to know you because you were deployed. but one thing i know is you were a really shy young man and you always tried to bring the family together you didnt like anyone being mad at each other. i thank you for everything you have done for my family and myself. thank you for fighting for our freedom. may god have you in his kingdom and may you rest in peace. may your family find comfort in god's words. you will never be forgotten!!!!! what gives me strength to go on is knowing you died doing what you love doing the most and that is fighting for our freedom. once more god bless and may you rest in peace!!!!!!!!!!!
