Although there seems to be some confusion about Marisol's job in the army (Water or Fuel), it just doesn't matter, a wonderful person is gone. Marisol, bless you for your service to our country. Bless you, bless you, bless you!!!

Marisol was a wonderful human being and a proud soldier. Truth must be told that the army that she served so proudly let her down. Marisol was a Water Purification Specialist who was ordered by an uncaring chain-of-command to conduct fueling operations - operations that she had never been trained to perform. This led to the fire that caused her mortal injuries. Marisol was a young soldier who loved her country, always did her best, and trusted in her superiors. I will never forget you Marisol. I pray that you did not suffer, even though I know you did. And I pray that your family and loved ones can find comfort in the Lord and in the truth. To the Heredia family, my deepest sympathies.
