Air Force Staff Sgt. Michael P. Flores died June 9, near FOB Jackson, Afghanistan, in a CV-22 Osprey helicopter crash. Also killed were Air Force 1st Lt. Joel C. Gentz, Air Force Staff Sgt. David C. Smith and Air Force Senior Airman Benjamin D. White

We met breifly when you picked your son at day care. I knew what a wonderful Dad you were.

How can you say it was a CV-22 crash the no more than 5 sentences later say it was a pave hawk? There is no certainty to what happened yet. Honor these mens' lives and not how their demise came about.

When I think back to when we knew eachother in high school, I can't help but remember how nice you were. You were a truely a kind spirit and you will be missed. The words "thank you" don't even begin to express the gratitude that I have for you. I will never forget you or the sacrifice you made. You are my hero!
