A LIFE REMEMBERED
Navy Lt. (SEAL) Michael P. Murphy was killed June 28 while conducting counter-terrorism operations in Kunar province, Afghanistan. Coalition forces located his remains while conducting a combat search-and-rescue operation July 4 in Kunar province.

To the Murphy Family: i heard of your son's courage, loyalty and bravery in church 02-01-09. i want you to know that his example continues to inspire where ever his story is told. May God bless you with strength to live lives as sterling as your son, nephew...May his fellow servicemen also have the strength and resolve to accomplish their missions to overcome the enemies of freedom in the world.
