Army Spc. Rachael L. Hugo died Oct. 5 in Bayji, Iraq, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked her unit using an improvised explosive device and small-arms fire.

I went to to school with Rachael, and she was a very nice, and sweet person. When I heard about her death over the radio I was very hurt. I look at her myspace page and I try to think about the way she was. I know she is in a better place now. I will continue to pray for her. GOD BLESS HER SOUL

Accept my CONDOLENCES from the bottom of our hearts (Mine, my wife's and one of the son's and younger brother of soldier). My older son is there in Bayji now with 1st 505 82nd Airborne Division. They could know each other. He is scheduled to come back home by the end of this month after 15 months deployment.
