Army Staff Sgt. Ricardo Seija died July 8 in Maidan Shahr, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device. Also killed were Army Spc. Erica P. Alecksen, Army Spc. Clarence Williams III, Army Pfc. Trevor B. Adkins, Army Pfc. Alejandro J. Pardo and Army Pfc. Cameron J. Stambaugh.
